Image source: Style Me Pretty Living This month's look for less blog post is such a beautiful light-filled home in Austin, Texas. If there is one thing I love about this house it is the colour palette! It has such a beautiful blend of neutrals and the perfect accents of wood and subtle pops of blue. Scroll down to see the pieces I chose for less. the living roomImage source: Style Me Pretty Living This living room is stunning! Probably my favourite room from this entire home tour. This is such a simple and easy look to recreate on a budget too! A gray couch is perfect if you have kids, it hides stains, but is still a light enough colour. This couch from Ikea is perfect because it's so affordable, but doesn't lack quality. A marble coffee table is ALWAYS a great idea, but that doesn't mean you need to get real marble. This faux marble one looks ideantial to the real thing and it's on sale for such a great price too! To add those natural elements to the space is this minimal sideboard and rattan chair. A sideboard is such a great option to display family photos on and to hide children's games and toys. The statement piece in this room is the rattan chair, it adds texture and would look amazing with a throw or pillow to create a comfier look. Seriously love the simple design of this living room! the dining roomImages source: Style Me Pretty Living Onto the dining room! I love how simple, but functional this dining room. It would be perfect for a young family since the table and chairs are super easy to clean. This simple dining table from Ikea gives the same look and can seat up to 8 people. The chairs I chose give the same black contrast, but have a really unique design and are extremely affordable too! To finish off this look is the natural jute rug and this gorgeous sputnik chandelier! The light fixture is the statement piece in this room and the black finish ties the whole look together. The family roomImage source: Style Me Pretty Living The family room has a cozier and more playful vibe than the previous rooms. It has the same calm and relaxed feel, but with different elements. I love the pop of the dark sectional, it adds some colour to the room without being too bold. The couch is accented with a gold and marble coffee table. I wasn't able to find a good match for the sideboard, but the one chosen has the same idea with geometric shapes. The finishing touch is this macrame plant hanger. I love this accessory because it adds both texture and greenery to the space. Such a stylish, but simple family room! The guest bedroomImage source: Style Me Pretty Living The last room for today's post is the guest bedroom. Guest bedrooms often get overlooked, but it's important to make it feel like a home away from home, but also have some style too. This simple upholstered headboard adds just the right amount of texture and is an affordable to create a hotel-inspired look. A night table is an easy place to save on because storage isn't necessary. I really like how simple this one below and it adds some warmth to the space. Blue accents are always so great for a bedroom because it is a calming colour perfect for a bedroom. This table lamp is so pretty and these striped pillows add some pattern. Over all a really pretty guest bedroom! Thanks for taking the time to read this blog post. If you’re interested in working with me you can get started right here.
