This actresses' loft is the loft of my dreams.  Olivia Culpo's home was recently featured on Homepolish and I knew I needed to do a blog post on this space after reading that article. The colour palette, textures, and aesthetic is so feminine, light, and airy. I had so much fun searching how to replicate this space. Keep reading to see how you can get the look for less.

The living room

The living room is probably my favourite space within the loft. I love the clean colour palette of creams and whites with pops of pink and gold accents. Its very girly, but still mature and sophisticated. I really like the simple design of the couch in the photo and was so happy to find that Ikea makes a very similar one. It is so affordable and looks way more expensive than it really is. The pillows and throw blanket really dress up the couch and add a more personalized touch. I like the use of ottomans in place of a traditional coffee table. It creates a softer look and is still super functional. The option below is a little pricey, but it is a classic piece would not go out of style. One of the trendier pieces is the gold framed chairs. These look so rich and luxurious, but are not something I would recommend splurging on. I was able to find a fairly affordable option from All Modern. This chair comes in five different colours, but I thought a blush accent would be fitting for this look. The bookshelves flanking the TV and fireplace would be so eash to install on a budget. The accetn cabinets underneath the shelves are so cute and extremely functional fore those items that need a home. I love a good statement mirror and this arched window-pane one is gorgeous. The one I chose is a steal for just under $200. This is a such a great price for a mirror that is this tall. I love this living room and it's such an easy to look to personalize and each piece can go with any style or colour palette.

the breakfast nook

This breakfast nook is so cute! Who wouldn't want to eat breakfast here each morning? I love the mix of different styles and furniture pieces in this corner. Mixing styles allows for a very unique and personalized look. I would recommend staying within a colour palette so you can keep a cohesive look and each furniture piece pairs perfectly. This dining table is perfect for a breakfast nook and gives those cool mid-century modern vibes. It is so affordable and is practically a classic furniture piece that you could do no wrong with. My favourite dining/accent chair is hands down a Louis XVI chair. They come in so many different wood finish and fabric combinations that there is something for everyone. I am a firm believer in splurging on classic pieces, and this chair will probably NEVER go out of style. This one is such a phenomenal price at $300, considering Restoration Hardware charges almost double. In the corner of this photo there is a bar cart that you can just catch a glimpse of. I thought I would include it since bar carts are having a moment right now. Bar carts really dress up an eating area and add that extra bit of glam. What really completes this breakfast nook is the gold pendant. The one I chose is from Ikea and for $25 you cannot go wrong! Ikea is such a great place for affordable light fixtures and they look just as great as the expensive ones on the market. I feel like breakfast nooks are sometimes left forgotten, but this one makes an impact with only 4 furniture pieces. It proves that you don't need a lot to create a beautiful space.

The kitchen

This kitchen is so beautiful! I love the colour palette of the white countertrops and tile with the gray cabinetry and gold accents. It looks so glamorous and put together.  You could almost classify this into the white kitchen trend since the gray is so faint. Since I can't link to a kitchen you can buy, (wouldn't that makes things so much easier?!) I have chosen a few elements to infuse that same glamour into your home. I wasn't able to find exactly Olivia's bar stools, but I found something that gives the same feeling. These gold bar stools from Anthropologie are stunning! I love the polished brass finish and the simple silhouette. They are on sale as well and would be perfect if you have kids since there is no upholstery to worry about! I love these oversize lantern pendants above the island as well. They add a little bit more glitz and glamour while also being functional task lighting.  The one I picked out is a little over $150 and will not go out of style for its classic design. I chose two items that I think all kitchens should and those are a cute kettle and a functional cutting board. This stove top kettle is from Kate Spade and is only $50! Such an amazing steal for Kate Spade. It comes in other colours as well, so you're sure to find one to go with your kitchen. This cutting board is also from Anthropologie and you really get two for the price of one. It is also on sale for just under $50 as well and is such a great price since half of it is genuine marble. Just a few key peices really elevate a kitchen and add that personal touch without breaking the bank.

the master bedroom

The last space is the master bedroom. This is such a warm and cozy space because of the brick and wood accents. Brick can sometimes be hard to work with, but it really balances out how feminine this space is. I love a good tufted headboard, it's so classic and pretty. I found an entire bedframe of Structube for only $599! This is such a great price since you are not just getting a headboard. The headboard of this bed makes such a statement for how tall it is and the tufting adds dimension and texture to the bedroom. Dressers are a necessity, but are usually overlooked since it can be hard to find one that is both beautiful and functional. This campagin dresser has such clean lines and will never go out of style. I love the gold hardware on this piece and I don't think you could do any wrong with a campagin style piece. Bringing warmth to the space is the oak nighstands and pendant lights. I found a cute gray and oak accent nightstand that is similar, but still gives that same warmth. These pendants look so much more expensive than they are, but are from Canadian Tire and are only $60. Such an awesome find at such an unexpected place. The last piece is the gray bench at the foot of the bed. I love adding a bench in a master to finish off the space but also for a practical place to put on shoes. I chose a tufted one to match the bed and keep with the theme. I also enjoy mixing grays in different tones for a more dimensional look, so this bench is perfect for that.
