November 2018 Moodboard

It's the end of another month and that means it's time for another moodboard! Scroll down to take a look.

This month I am finally accepting that it's offically fall/winter and the colder weather and darker colour palette is upon us. My favourite colours for fall are black and burgurndy, since they have such a moody look to them. I also really love rich textures like leather, velvet, and dark wood tones. Red is such a festive colour this time of year, but the burgundy shade gives it more of an edge. 
As for interior design I generally like to stick to a light colour palette, but I was really drawn to something moody, like this bathroom. I love the contrast between black and white and the patterned rug adds some colour and interest. I am a huge fan of brick, but something about this painted black exterior creates a huge impact. 
​This month I have been really wanting to cross going to New York off my bucket list, hence the Chrysler Building. I guess I'll just keep dreaming for now. 
The central image in this month's moodboard fit so perfectly with my colour palette this month. The multiple shades of red on the dress and seats and the dark shadows created a dramatic vibe that I love! 
It's all about drama this month and I love all of the dramatic and rich tones coming together.
