Welcome back to another perfect pairings post! This week I'll be showing you my top picks for cabinetry and hardware for each different style. I have added an inspiration picture to also give you a better idea of the look I'm trying to acheive for each style. Each cabinet and hardware pairing can easily work for a kitchen, bathroom, or laundry room. Keep reading to find out what I've picked this week!
There's something about a traditional kitchen or bathroom that is just so sophisticated. This is such an easy and simple look to acheive, but makes a huge impact on your space! Going with a classic white or creme really unifies the space and adds sophistication by working with neutrals. I've chosen this beautiful raised panel cabinetry package. I love using hardware to really dress up cabinetry. I like to think of hardware, lighting, and faucets as the jewelry of your home. It's fun to give them a chance to shine. And choosing not one, but two different hardware pieces creates a unique look. I chose to go with a classic brushed nickel finish for both. The bin drawer pull is a classic and just fit perfectly with this look. The circular knob is simple that it doesn't distract, but still a beautiful piece. This is probably my favourite look here.
It is so fun to be trendy and embrace what we see each different season. This rich navy blue is unexpected, but looks amazing! I like how a subtle colour like this can make such a big impact on your space. If you're going for more of statement look the rule is to keep everything else neutral and let that one statement piece shine. A great example is the kitchen above. The countertops and tile are a bright white and the cabinets really pop. Going with a really simple and clean drawer pull looks beautiful and keeps with fresh and clean design.
This rich red is such a beautiful colour! It would look perfect surrounded by natural textures like wood flooring and some stone backsplash. The inspiration photo shows three different cabinet colours and they all look amazing together. I especially love the rustic looking island, it is such a nice constrast. This hardware is so pretty! I love the organic shape and how it's made to look like a little twig. Love this look!
I was really inspired by the photo above and tried to find exact dupes for you to acheive this look. The cabinet is bamboo and is so great for the environement! Bamboo is extremely sustainable and a great choice to get a wood look if you're environmentally concious. The hardware is so sleek and modern. It sits just above the cabinet looks just like the ones in the inspo shot. I think this kitchen would look amazing with the bamboo cabinets as a focal piece and everything else being a soft white or gray.
I can't say that I'm a big fan of this style, but it could look really nice with herringbone floors and some patterned backsplash. I really love the panelling on the cabinets and how traditional they are. What makes them rustic is the subtle distressing in the grooves of the panelling. It's sublte, but enough to tell it's distressed. As for the hardware I thought something simple, but kind of antique looking would look perfect! A contrasting island would also look great with this combo too!
The Glamour Queen
I love the inpsiration shot of this kitchen! It's so glamorous and probably everything I could ever want in a kitchen. Gray is such a trendy but simple colour right now and it goes with everything! I love how in the picture above they used beautiful crown molding and painted it to match the cabinets. This looks great for any kitchen! I chose a very close colour match to the ones in the photo and went with simple panelling to still keep them looking modern. These knobs are so awesome! I've never seen anythign like them before and are an awesome alternative to long bar drawer pulls. Such a beautiful kitchen!
