Wallpaper has been around forever and I love how you can easily transform a room with it! It can be difficult to find the right wallpaper for your room. There is so many different options out there that it can get confusing so quickly! Today I will help eliminate the stress and time by giving you a curated list of wallpapers and paint pairings for each style. Keep reading to see what made the list! THE TRADITIONALISTClassic chinoiserie will never go out of style! It's classic, clean, and elegant for any space. This wallpaper can get really busy really fast so keeping this wallpaper in a powder room or laundry room will keep it contained. I chose a classic creamy white paint to keep the traditional feel going. The TrendsetterMarble is everywhere right now and it's only fitting to have marble wallpaper too. I love how simple and minimal this wallpaper is. It will make a huge impact without being overly bold. I really like the idea of having the gray veining pop, so I paired it with a really subtle, cool-toned gray. The bohemianThis wallpaper would be so much fun in a children's room or powder room! It's really unexpected, but it's so whimsical and fun. This wallpaper already looks amazing, but with the right paint colour the colours will pop! I paired it with a navy blue to bring out the richness in the print. The MOdernistI really liked the inspiration shot above and I think I got pretty close to the exact wallpaper! This wallpaper is so cool and I've never seen anything like it before. It has a combination of a matte and gloss finish so when the light hits it the right way you can see the pattern and texture. The pattern is subtle, but the black is what makes it so dramatic. I paired this wallpaper with a true cool-toned white to create contrast and keep things looking clean. The ruralistThis is such an easy way to get the barnwood look on a much lower cost. If you apply it right no one will be able to tell the difference! Instead of going for basic vertical and horizontal lines the chevron creates pattern and interest. It also helps to distract the eye and keep people guessing if it's real barnwood or faux. The colour variation and texture also add to the rustic look. I paired this wallpaper with a subtle greige that will look amazing next to it! The Glamour QueenI had to end this post with a showstopper! I think metallics are so pretty and if you just can't get enough then why not put some on your walls! I chose a gold and white patterned wallpaper, since gold is still a strong trend right now. This would be so rich in a dining room or master retreat. It's very sophisticated, but also has an element of fun. I chose a classic white to match the pattern and to keep everything else understated.
