I'm super excited to be sharing with you my first travel diary! I thought I would try something a little different and a little more personalized on the blog. I really wanted a chance to showcase the photos I took on my trip. I hope you enjoy!
The first part of my trip was in Kelowna to visit family and also enjoy the beautiful lake. There was several wildfires in BC while we were there and that is the reason for the hazy look in some photos. I think it turned out to have a cool effect.
I came across the coolest hotel ever! I really love the design and fun colour of this building. I had to get a picture in front of the pink wall. It's too bad I didn't stay there.
The walk along the promenade was stunning! It was nice to walk along the water and see the nice scenery of the lake.
The next stop on my journey was White Rock. It is a little town just outside of Vancouver that sits right on the coast. Again the haze from the smoke ruined most of the shots, but they still look pretty cool.
Can we just talk about how cool this library is? I love it! Such a cool innovative design, so naturally I had to get a picture in front of the plant wall.
Our next stop on the trip was a day in Vancouver! There was so much to see and do there. The architecture of the many buildings was beautiful, so I loved getting shots of them.
The view of the Lion's Gate Bridge from Prospect Point was stunning! When I had heard that there was a Canada 150 sign in Vancouver I immediatley needed to get a picture with it!
The next place I stopped at was Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Gardens. The gardens were so beautiful and made for some really pretty pictures.
Walking through Gastown I accidentally happened upon this beautiful Neoclassical style train station. The interior was just as elegant as the exterior.
I really enjoyed sharing some of my favourite pictures from my trip. I hope you enjoyed as well! I hope to do travel diaries more often as I have really enjoyed taking pictures and creating a blog post to look back on.
