Pink is one of my favourite colours, so when the colour millennial pink started trending I was super excited! Pantone announced that this shade is projected to be the trending colour of spring 2017. Pantone really hit the mark because this colour has been popping up everywhere. Pink can sound like a daunting shade to work with but keep reading to see my take on this hot colour.

I love how all of these materials look together! It is such a pretty sophisticated look. The pops of pink with the neutral colours look really sophisticated together. The varying shades add interest and dimension. I love adding the neon pops of pink with the more pastel shades. It looks a little edgier and grown up than just one single shade of pink. The furniture I've chosen below would pair perfectly with these materials.

Since this colour is so trendy it made sense to go with a look that reflected this. The accents of gold keep this look fresh and adds a touch of glamour. I love how this colour pairs so perfectly with another trend, the banana leaf print. This look is not for everyone, but I think this could be the perfect look for a cute apartment.  A few of the pieces are from Lulu & Georgia, they have a great selection of furniture and home decor that is trendy but affordable.
I hope this post has inspired you to use this lovely colour in your home!
